About the Friends

In 2002, the Friends of the Yolo Crisis Nursery was established to raise funds and community awareness for the Yolo Crisis Nursery.

Many of us became involved with the “Friends” group simply because we were made aware of the incredible services that the Nursery provides to Yolo County.  Once we visited the Nursery, had an opportunity to meet the staff, and the children being cared for at the Nursery, we were “hooked”.

Friends of the YCN meetings are held monthly.  There is no fee to join.  Members are asked to participate in in any way that their time and talents allow.  To find out more, please contact us.
